As the governing nationwide organization for school chaplains, the National School Chaplain Association has long been trusted by school districts across the US to place chaplains within their schools and communities. Now, the National School Chaplain Association has announced a new online service that will help aspiring school chaplains not only look for work using their job search but to prepare their application so that they can secure a job quickly.

The National School Chaplain Association believes that school communities are increasingly in need of more nurturing well-being support, and they believe that school chaplains are one of the most important and proven ways to create a connected, happy, and hopeful student body. As such, they have actively expanded their reach in recent years and are now working alongside more elementary, middle, and high schools than ever before.

This means that they have more prospective job opportunities for newly trained and accredited school chaplains. As a training organization themselves, they support their own students once they graduate from their programs so that they can find meaningful chaplaincy work quickly. They can now also help external chaplains, both new and experienced, to gain employment quickly using their dedicated school chaplain job search and new application help tools.

The expert team at the National School Chaplain Association will help interested school chaplains gather all the documentation they need to begin their job search. This includes their safety training documentation - active shooter training and personality threat assessment training are both required - reference letters, background checks, and accreditation documentation.

Their online job hub also helps new chaplains to search for jobs in their local area, as well as to connect with a thriving community of chaplains who are already working in schools across the country.

The National School Chaplain Association recommends chaplaincy to any individual who wants to improve the lives of children and teenagers, and who believes that a school should really feel like a community.

A spokesperson for the chaplaincy organization said, “We’re committed to helping you get hired. We’re so proud of how far you’ve already made it. Boost your employability by completing the required tasks for certification. Securing these obligatory documents will demonstrate to hiring managers that you’re prepared and ready to provide the spiritual care educators and students need.”
