NYC Banners Delivers High-Stakes UN General Assembly Backdrop for the US Department of State Event
Oct 1, 2026
NEW YORK - Oct. 1, 2026 - PRLog -- Leading rush printing specialist in New York successfully managed tight deadlines to deliver high-tension fabric displays for a high-level international event. NYC Banners printed and installed the official "Shield of the Americas" backdrop for an event at the Department of State during the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) week in New York City. The high-tension fabric display served as the primary background for official remarks by international delegates, including Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State of the US.
Precision and Production Rigor
NYC Banners printed two stretch banners on heavy-duty polyester, one of 20x10 ft and another of 10x8 ft. Given the indoor setting and potentially heavy flash photography, the printer chose a glare-free material to keep the visuals sharp even with high-definition flash photography.
NYC Banners proved its mettle with precise color-matching to the official Department of State seal. Notably, the printer maintained confidentiality and met the stringent security protocols for the UN.
"As NYC's ultimate rush order specialist, we handle last-minute printing so you can order today and receive today. Honestly, we print everything except dollar bills," commented Mohamad Faroqui, Founder of NYC Banners.
Meeting NYC's High-Velocity Event Demands
New York is a fast-paced city, known for its corporate galas, trade shows, exhibitions, and more all year round. NYC's intense, fast-paced environment demands swift design finalization, quick printing and drying, and timely delivery. Same-day turnarounds become critical for business success and are expected for national and international-level events.
Traditional multi-day timelines with undefined delivery timelines do not meet the requirements of the city's fast-moving professional culture. The team's expertise in same-day fabrication with professional on-site installation eliminates the friction of managing separate vendors. This is exactly what top-level events, such as the UNGA Summit, need.
