Super Mom and Successful Georgia Real Estate Agent — Dani Burns
May 3, 2023
“I am more than sales,” says Dani. “I’m a mom, a career woman, and a wife.”
Gainesville, GA - May 3, 2023 —
Dani Burns is more than just a successful real estate agent—she is also a mom and wife. And her strong family skills allow her to connect to her clients and their families, understand their priorities, and discover their perfect homes.
For those who have never met Dani, she is the textbook definition of a “people person.” She is also a top real estate agent in Georgia, selling luxurious houses, and the root of her success comes down to making genuine connections.
Many traits make her stand out from the rest. One is her energy! Her first broker once told her: “Dani, anyone would buy a house from you because you’re so excited.”
She also has great people and listing skills, and a passion that some real estate agents may even call extreme. For example, she will drive to the right house for her client, whether it is on the market or not. If it's off the market, then, for her, it’s just a matter of negotiation.
Another impressive trait is her openness to share her own journey. “I’m not a quiet person,” she says with a laugh. “If I can share an experience and help someone, I want to.” This includes something special about her family: They are blended. Dani and her husband have five kids between the ages of twelve and twenty-two, and all of them—along with Dani herself—have dealt with divorce.
That is where we start to see another side of Dani. As a mother of five, she wants to set an example of managing a strong career and a great family life.
The job is also very personal to her. She loves it in all respects, with one main reason being its flexibility. She explains: “The thing that I’ve loved about the real estate business is I’ve been able to attend my kids’ events and have a flexible schedule.”
And yet, as you can imagine, it’s not easy balancing life as a “super mom” and a successful real estate agent. One of the major struggles that she comes across is burnout.
Despite this, she has worked to overcome her struggles using five different strategies:
- Proper time management, such as blocking out time for specific events or just time to rest.
- Waking up at 5 am to get a “jump” on the day and to work out—which helps keep her healthy and gives her the strength needed to sustain her lifestyle.
- Keeping an organized schedule to better plan out her days.
- Menu and meal prepping to save time later in the week.
- Eating out to save time during busy days.
“I am more than sales,” says Dani. “I’m a mom, a career woman, and a wife.”
All in all, Dani Burns has shown what the power of discipline and connection can result in. Despite having a full-time career, she made the time to become a dedicated, loving mother and wife. As a result of her people-focus approach, her career and family life have blossomed into the best they can be.

‘Avedon’ Review: Ron Howard’s Thrilling Documentary About Richard Avedon, the Great Photographer Who Turned Head-On Portraits Into an Art Form
"Avedon," Ron Howard’s documentary about the legendary photographer, is a fantastic movie. It’s the best documentary Ron Howard has made (my favorite before this: "The Beatles: Eight Days a Week — The Touring Years"), and it’s been edited in a way that’s so supple and artful that its technique should be studied in filmmaking classes. (The film’s editor is Andrew Morreale.) Woven through the movie are hundreds of images that were shot by Richard Avedon, and there’s no question that the images are stunning, but the way the movie layers them into your consciousness is nearly musical in its finesse. And that helps to tell the very large story that "Avedon" is telling: how Richard Avedon changed photography in a way that shifted how we see the world.
